Maple Syrup time

It is that time of year that we begin tapping our Maple trees for their sap.  Roughly 40 gallons of sap makes one gallon of Maple syrup.  We are tapping  22 trees this year.  I have found some Maples in the woods between 4, 5, and 6.  Hopefully we will get over 100 gallons of sap this year.  I believe the Clubhouse is planning some kind of event so we can use the syrup.  Last years event was very successful.  Keep your fingers crossed that the sap flows good this winter.

Tapping Big Maple Hole # 6

Sap is already running out of spile before I can get tubing and bucket set

The tree on #6 is big enough to have multiple taps
