Today Schaefer-Meyer sodded the last half of 9 cart path. We now have to grow in the new sod. This has been a long 4 months. The new bunkers and cart paths look great. We will have to do a little fixing up. Some trenches will settle and some of the irrigation we had to replace will settle. We will fix these areas as they develop. It will be a few more weeks before everything roots. With the unseasonal warm weather even the Zoysia is starting to root. Remember please play all new construction as Ground Under Repair until further notice.

I was fortunate to play this past weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. Just wanted to let you know that all of the improvements look absolutely outstanding! My guests who had played previously were also very impressed. Hats off to the Shaefer-Meyer Crew, as well as the entire FCCC team who I know worked very hard on this.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what this looks like when everything takes root, settles in, and greens up. This only reinforces the fact that FCCC is the "Best kept secret in Missouri golf"! Every member should be very proud.
Thanks Mark, It is exciting times for FCCC. I can't wait myself to see project grown in. It was great to work with Schaefer-Meyer and Art Schaupeter on this project. This is something I will never forget.
