I got this video from USGA thought it would be good to publish. We do have trouble with people not raking after they hit out of bunker. We place our rakes in the bunkers.

Krakow Cup 2014
Today was the first round of our Krakow Cup. Krakow Cup is our men's member guest tournament. I would like to personal thank my staff for their hard work this week. We had a short week to prepare for the event and they did an outstanding job. We put in some long hours this week to get ready for the tournament. Thanks to Dan Tod, Rob Bardot, Karen Burns, Tim Larrison, Sonny Stone, Kyle Frankenburg, Duane Schieble, Nick Wachter, and Dustin Maune. This is the best staff in the state of Missouri. Each one of these people take ownership of this great golf course. I could not do my job without them.

Hydrojecting Greens
We just finished our first of three Hydrojecting greens. Hydrojecting is aeration using hi- pressure water injecting it into the green making a small hole. In most greens you cant even see the holes. The procedure is very easy on our greens. The holes are on a 3x3 inch pattern. As I have blog about before aeration is a vital part of our cultural practice to have good greens throughout the summer. We have Hydrojecting schedule for July and August.
3 machine were used.
It took a total of 4 hours to Hydroject all 19 greens
Flag is sticking in one of aeration holes
We got a depth of 5 to 6 inches

Maintenance Road resurfaced
We had the road to and from our maintenance facility resurfaced the first part of May. The old road was in terrible shape. Lot of pot holes and in places no asphalt. The condition of the road could have done damage to our cutting reels on our mower. We had to drive carefully to get out and back from the course. We have a nice smooth path now.
